The purpose of the Walter S. Miller PTO is to develop a close relationship between home and school so that parent and teacher may cooperate in the education of the child.
Our PTO supports programs that enhance the education of all students enrolled at Walter S. Miller. Our school is registered in the Box Tops for Education program, which earns Walter Miller cash back from products many of our parents already purchase.
We would like to encourage you to continue supporting our school by saving the General Mills Box Tops.
There is a large green box in the office. You can drop them off any time.
Many stores will now give
Walter Miller a percentage of all purchases. At
Genuardi's, stop at the customer service desk and put your
name on our list. When you use your store card, a donation
is made to the Walter Miller PTO. Target will also give us cash
back on everything that is purchased with the Target credit
card. Acme will give cash back to the PTO for blue register
slips, there is a box in the office for them.
The focus of the Walter Miller PTO was to replace
outdated maps and globes and possibly purchase some new
audio-video equipment for classrooms. Last year, we reached
our goal. This year, we are working toward audio equipment
and new playground equipment.
The Walter Miller PTO is supported entirely by our parents and community in our fundraising events. It is with the help of volunteers, parents, teachers and staff of Walter Miller that our PTO is able to provide so many events, assemblies, and programs for all our students.
We personally invite and encourage you to become a member of this important and rewarding team of Walter S. Miller Elementary School.
